Get Closer

While driving to one of my favorite Fall spots, I couldn't pass up the grazing critters so I pulled over, put on my flashers and walked a little closer.  The steer in the distance noticed me right away and began tossing his head to and fro while the sheep continued to graze contentedly.  As the steer got closer so did the pig...yes, an adorable pot bellied, black pig with tusks.  Too flipping adorable as it grunted, as if saying to the steer...get closer.

What a pretty view that is in the first picture. Nice of the pig and steer to pose for a photo

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a pot-bellied pig with tusks. How cool!

We occasionally see eagles flying near the cabin. One even landed on our protective log boom out front. But where I seen the most is in town. They use the tall trees along the shore to spot for fish in the shallows. - Margy
