Enough

I'm just not feeling enthused this Winter...too many people I care about are having a rough time this year:

a BF has been diagnosed with heart problems and most recently was brought to the ER bleeding heavily from her cervix;

another friend slipped on a piece of wax paper on her floor in the kitchen and broke her shoulder...meanwhile her husband developed pneumonia while fighting a "cold", and ended up having half of his lung removed;

another very good friend lost his son recently.  When I saw him after the holidays and asked how their Christmas was, he responded, "Well, my sucked JP...my son is dying."  All I could do was hug him tightly;

another BFF was working on his garage roof when the scaffolding gave way and he fell to the pavement hitting his head...during his ER tests, they discovered he has cancer in addition to his TBI;

while Katniss was treated repeatedly for various worms since I caught her, at her recent office visit to the Vet when the Vet suggested trying a complete change to her diet, I asked to (once again) test her feces "for anything and everything".  I KNEW something was in her intestines.  She is now being treated for Lungworm, a parasite that generally affects dogs.  Katniss is now on three meds, while I am hoping for a full recovery;

just seeing, saying, and sharing...

I could make a list of things like this 3 times as long as yours, it is everywhere.. who knew that people at age 79 are more at risk for leukemia than young people. her battle includes pills that cost 10,000 per month to battle the disease, she gets them through a grant but for how long. so sorry for all the things that have happened to yur friends. my list of frieds has made me fret about when the shoe will drop on us

Oh my, that is a lot to have on your plate. No wonder you're not enthused. It's so hard to see people you know suffering. Sending big hugs your way

JP, That is a lot of pain and suffering for sure. I pray for healing of bodies and hearts. I pray as light returns as we head into summer that your enthusiasm will as well. Healing energy is coming your way. Have a great week. Sylvia D.

Love the tranquility of your black and white picture.

It really does seem that troubles never come singly but you really are having a rough time. I hope things improve for you and your loved ones.

A sad post for sure, JP, and hopefully it will not make you too depressed, but it's hard not to feel bad when bad things happen to friends and family members. Hope that Katniss will be fully recovered.

Dealing with one problem can be a strain, but so many … I pray for relief for you and friends soon.

Sometimes "life" just gets to be too much, JP. Sometimes I find myself quickly drowning, when I get all kinds of bad news, so I unplug the telephone.... stop reading the news..... and surround myself with things that make me happy. I wish you to be surrounded with just those things too, JP! Love, Andrea xoxo
