The day I met Brooklyn she was sitting chatting with Jersey Girl and her 10 year old daughter, "B", who I had met at the pool several days before. While talking to "B" she told me how she, her Daddy and Mom watched videos together. To my surprise and amazement, when I asked her what they enjoyed she told me that they had been watching an eagle cam out of Hanover, PA!
So here I was on vacation in Aruba meeting total strangers who wanted me to "talk Eagles". The next thing I knew, out came the cell phone (with only 117 photos that I carry just in case) and before we were done, we were laughing and cavorting as if we'd known each other for years.
In fact, I have now added a trip to Alaska to my bucket list, thanks to Brooklyn, who lived in Juno for several years. She kayaks, hikes and loves the outdoors as much as I do. After our vacations, we decided that we were going to keep in touch.
just seeing, saying, and sharing...

Was looking at my blogger and saw that you are in aruba.. How wonderful is that... nice and warm. Considering it's still so cold here in the North.. Meeting people and talking with them is always so fun...glad you found someone that does the things you like to do..
My lastest thing to take off my bucket list is walk on the Appalachian Trail...Went to Hot Springs, North Carolina and went up to Max Patch where the appalachian is and walked about 12 miles.. It's so beautiful there.
Good to see you are still blogging... I always think I should get back to blogging but never do... Maybe I'll blog soon...
Have a gret day~!~! Ta Ta For Now....Anne
It's always a joy to find a kindred spirit!
Hello, beautiful shadow shot. Alaska does have a lot of Eagles.
Happy Monday, have a great day and new week!
It's a small world after all.
oops. wasn't done...lol I meant to add who would have thought that far away from home you would meet people who shared your passion for eagles. Around here there are a lot of people who follow the Hanover eagle cam
JP, So glad you kept those eagle pictures. Nice to make new friends in life. Not everyone would run across eagle lovers on the same vacation. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
