The Cold Shoulder

Neither of these two were terribly friendly the day I saw them.  They stood taking in the afternoon sun with their backs to me the entire time.  Preoccupied with "whatever" even though I'd stopped by for a visit, at least they let me know they were not frozen by turning their heads and gazing in my direction occasionally.  Or was really I getting "the cold shoulder"?

Cold shoulder or not, you captured a couple of good photos.

i think they were warming a side at a time and were facing away to get the little sun i see on that side of the body. or they were giving you not only the cold shoulder but the cold butts to

Apparently they didn't sense a chunk of apple or a sugar cube in your direction.

hehehe, yes, you did get the cold shoulder. that is quite unusual. in these parts, the horses always come to greet me, i'm sure they think i have treats!!!

Hello, maybe they prefer visitors with treats. They are pretty horses.

Our power went out yesterday morning and is not back on yet. Thankfully hubby got our generator working long enough for me to make a few comments. I will catch up on all links and blog comments asap.

Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
