A Stormy Love

Arriving right on schedule, our first storm gave us about 5 inches of that "white stuff" I love.  Standing tall in the falling snow, Damon (the hand carved eagle) seemed as if it belonged to this first sign of Winter which stirred that romantic, nostalgic feeling in me.

It was when I spotted one of the many pairs of Cardinals, that made me think of the title for the post.

Peering out the slider as the afternoon progressed, I continued to bake.

Doing something I enjoy as I listened to my headphones, I knew I couldn't sing or hum out loud.  Doing so would disturb the Pres watching TV.  Yet, like the Pres, I too was in another world.

just seeing, saying, and sharing...

A Stormy Love

  13. The falling snow adds a softened, romantic tone to these pictures - so your title is totally appropriate! Out here in Montana, we don't have cardinals, and I really miss them! Merry Christmas to you!
