He didn't have to ask twice.
Meeting my son and granddaughter at Lyman's Orchards earlier in the week meant another adventure.
I don't know about you, but I couldn't even remember the last time I walked through a maze, let alone one created with Sunflowers!
Beautiful colors popping out at us, as we made our way. My granddaughter led the way (thank goodness with a few directions given by her Dad).
And I brought up the rear...sometimes the safest place to be when wandering through a maze.
While the fencing is only mesh, it supported the sunflowers just fine. As light as it was, the mesh created paths through the maze and decisions to be made...just like life. Luckily I did not lead the way. Otherwise we might still be wandering!
just seeing, saying and sharing...

WOW! No words to express the beauty of the flowers!

Hello, I just love the sunflowers. Beautiful photos!
Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Fun! I love the tee shirt logo. I've only been in a corn maze...once...but sunflower are prettier. ;) Enjoy the weekend.
I've only ever seen yellow sunflowers! The reds are beautiful!
I always enjoyed the red sunflowers as much as the yellow ones. I used to grow them big and targets for the neighboring squirrels.
Worth a Thousand Words
that's out close to my neck of the woods. Beautiful sunflower photos. Lyman's is always a nice place to visit and to get something nice to eat!
What a unique maze. I've never heard of one being made with Sunflowers. It's pretty awesome.
There is something about sunflowers that me happy. I've been through corn and maize mazes before and I would like to try a sunflower maze.
Nice - we have done a few mazes - but not a sunflower one!

Sounds like a fun day for all! I love the colored sunflowers. This year two farmers planted large fields of sunflowers. It was a sight to behold! No one has ever planted them in this area before. We were just in awe.
so very pretty, it "is" sunflower season!!! we walked through a "corn maze" last year and i must admit i didn't love it. i wanted to, but didn't! i was soooooo excited but once we got inside, it was so hot and so confusing and a tad too much walking for me. i thought "i just don't get it, you must need to be younger"!! it was just me, sunflowers would be better and i think i am getting old!!!
gorgeous images!!!
