A Little Too Late

Can you see the ocean in the distance?

That's where I'd come from.  Now I was going to head home.  However (there's that word again), I've been meaning to stop in at the Bird Sanctuary which is right down the road from the beach. So, I did.

To my dismay, they were closed.  It was 5:20 pm.  However, now that I know what their hours are, I am planning a visit...soon.

Look at the rows and rows of nesting boxes in this field located at the sanctuary.

I can hardly imagine the traffic there in the Spring!  Part of their 325 acre parcel which is a nature preserve that overlooks the ocean.

Another adventure...

just seeing, saying, sharing...

  4. JP, I bet you could hear some nice birds songs while visiting there. The houses look like our bluebird houses here. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. So early to close especially in the summer ... I can see winter hours when it would be dark by then anyway, but now?? It is great to have a place like this nearby and it obviously has great potential based on what you already saw!
