The Group Shot

There they were, perched on that branch and I just couldn't resist.

Oh, how I wanted to get that shot of the entire group.
Trying to hurry (which is not easy when you hurt) and dashing up the DR steps and into the kitchen to get the camera, I wondered if they would still be there when I got back to the slider.

And they were.  The whole group.
But then again, as we all know, there's one in every crowd.  You know, the one who goes their own way, does things independently and just has to be different from the rest...one who just simply stands out.  And here he is.

  8. Love your pictures. Those squirrels can turn up anywhere. I love to watch our doves sitting in the sun on the pavement or bricks...they are warming themselves. Hope you are feeling better today. You did go thru a lot.Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  9. Peace doves in a tree. Ours usually cuddle up in more than a dozen on the ground in our yard. Of course, they are not doing that now because it is winter. I feed our squirrels and birds during the cold months and provide a bird bath during the hotter days. I enjoyed your post very much.
