Making An Entrance

You may not even realize it yet, but I've been gone for a while.  Now, hopefully, I am back.
I've been in such a "funk"...worried about the Pres, worried about Moon (who recovered nicely and is doing fine by the way), worried about my BFFs just because I love them so much, worried about Luke because I adore him too, and the list goes on.
Has anyone else out there ever just needed to "zone out?"

Then, the other day, I finally grabbed my camera and went outside to do nothing...
yep...NOTHING.  This was the first time in a long, long time, I wanted to do nothing.

And speaking of nothing...
racing out of the thick lush ferns, he made his entrance.

Nothing puts a smile on my face better than Red and his relatives.  They are so flippin' cute!  They'll get me back on track...:)

  1. I've needed to zone out for far less reasons than you gave. Getting out in the fresh air with a camera is a great way to zone. Not to mention it's nice for us when you share what you find :)

  2. Keep those photos coming. It's therapeutic for you and the rest of us.

  3. Yes, sometimes we do need to have a break of sorts from blogging and life in general. I'm glad you're doing better and are 'back' at it. :) Cute pics of the squirrel. Enjoy the day.

  4. this little guy looks like he might be a teen aged Red... so cute, they always make me smile. there are so many cute critters out there today my face hurts from smiling as i comment. from pigs and cows to squirrels and baby geese

  5. You've had a busy time of it lately....I'm so glad you found your camera again.

  6. Sometimes something is just so cute you almost can't stand it! This tiny guy hit me like that. The picture of innocence. Wonderful.

  7. cute lil fellow, welcome back.

I know what you mean about being in a "funk"

  8. Hello JP, I hope the Pres is feeling better and taking good care of himself. But, then you are there to watch his every move right? Love your cute "Red". Adorable photos. Take care of yourself too! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  9. Hope the Pres is doing well and you also and everyone in your life

~ You certainly captured this chipmunk well ~ they are so fast!

    Happy Weekend to you,
    artmusedog and carol

  10. oh yes! I regularly zone out, it's good to get away from the distractions especially with the camera and get out into nature :-)

  11. Understandable..... Wish we had some reds here ..

  12. I worry far too little! I always left it for my husband to do and now I must learn to do it! Love the little red squirrel. Very cute!!
