Good-Bye "White Magic"

With warmer temps headed our way (wooo...wooo!), it will help alleviate my concerns about our little herd of deer.  Saying good-bye to the white magic as I watch it shrink is a good feeling, I'll admit.

Clearing a spot with the snow blower will no longer be necessary, but corn is still put down for them and will be until depleted.

Forming small piles for them then walking away, the Pres tells me they meander in right away as they apparently were lurking in the woods.

Perhaps the word has spread about a snack at our place because suddenly, rather than our small herd of five or six, we now have eleven although they do come in two separate groups.

  5. It must be awfully hard for them to find food, at least for the last few weeks. You are so kind to them and have a good heart.
