Fun With Dick and Jane

Nothing but
snow...

and more snow...

and more snow...

everywhere we turned.

Meanwhile, using the snowblower, the Pres cut through the deep, crusted piles of snow in back of the garage, opening up a good sized area for the deer to take cover and hunker down.  When we watched them struggle around the perimeter of the fence, we wanted to do something for them.  Leaping and jumping through it, they would be so helpless if they tried to run.

Did you notice I am no longer referring to this stuff as "white magic"?

  3. Oh how nice, reminders of home! Yes, how come you've lost the magic JP? Have you read posts from gals out west complaining about rain day after day - let's trade with them and see which we prefer. :-)
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

  4. You are so tender hearted! I love the puffed up bluebirds! I thought they migrate away from the cold? Their collage is amazing and beautiful. Poor little things are struggling. Is that icicles? Brrr.

  9. Yeah. The magic is gone here too. Beautiful mosaics. Have the bluebirds stayed there all winter? So pretty to see them in the whiteness. And the deer....nice to help them out too.

  20. Dear Friend,
I guess the picture of a white magical blanket called Winter will eventually disappear into the Spring arms...
