What pretty scenes! We had to put up a "NO TRESPASSING" sign in our back yard because our neighbors, while we were gone one summer, sent their gardner over to trim trees ON OUR PROPERTY!!!!! They also put up an extension on their 6' fence FROM OUR YARD! (The "boys" like to swim naked in their pool...we NEVER watch them...heck...we don't have time!). AND, they left tree branches all over our yard. We don't talk to them anyway. One is very hot tempered and he called me a...well...I can't say it here. Needless to say, they are NOT good neighbors!
I think "No Trespassing" is pretty clear too, but a farmer's wife told me recently that all the farmers in her area don't mean photographers...but people who use snowmobiles and off-road vehicles. WHAT?! If that's who they mean, why don't they say so?!
well, usually it depends on who you are asking? if you are asking me ... i would stay way way back. cause i am a chicken & don't wanna go to jail. other people they walk on in & make themselves at home. ( :
I don't get it either, but everytime I see the sign and can't help but think of the joke, Why do Mexicans never cross the border in groups of three? ...Because it says no TRESpassing. :-)

And yet there will be someone, for sure, who puts a totally different spin on the meaning of that sign.

Yep. I don't think I'd be trespassing there!
I'd stay out if it was me! lol
Exactly! Usually there's lots of important reasons too! Great photos.

I do understand the signs but i always want to trespass because it says i can't. like don't step on the grass.. really?

neat dam / flowage!
Lovely wintry shots.
You certainly need fences around the dam.
Love your great shots of the fences and dam.
nice shot. Not everyone understands "no trespassing"
A frozen dam! I never saw one like this, so I guess it is very cold there. A very good picture, is it near your house?
Very nicely done of the dam all fenced in.
Great views!
Looks like it would be some good fishing below the dam...

Yes, it would pay to take notice of that sign. Those fences have a purpose!
Definitely a cold looking winter scene. Yes you do have to wonder at times if people can't read....
A 'Danger!, Keep Out' sign might be more appropriate. But you would have to be an idiot to climb over the fences surrounding the dam.
