Sneak A Peek

Within a few miles from us is an abandoned home.

Well, I thought it was abandoned anyway.

It looked abandoned.

However, after stopping to sneak a peek, I noticed that there was activity way in the back far beyond the old barn and it's fence.

It was when I got home and asked the Pres about the place.
"The town bought it years ago and uses it to haul the leaves they pick-up."

  1. That house looks like it had a lot of activity at one time in its life. Reminds me of the Walton's home!

  7. Poor old house. So do they put the leaves in it or outside? And THEN what happens to them, they just leave them there to disintegrate?

  9. Too bad it isn't being fixed up and used. Seems a shame to use it just for leaf storage. Who knows though. Maybe it has another life in it one of these days.

  12. it does look abandoned. So they just use the property to dump leaves and don't use the house?

  13. Looks like a great site to go metal detecting. You could find some nice old coins around the house I bet.
