Snow Means Hard Work

When the last storm began, the Pres and I knew it was going to be a good one!  The Pres planned on driving me to our son's so I could watch Mia when school was cancelled Wednesday and delayed Thursday.

It snowed, and snowed and snowed.

Before we left, looking at Copper, we realized that he, too, was in for some hard work.

You know...

listening to all those flakes fall

  5. Dear Cooper, he has the right attitude, for a snow, snow, snow day.

In fact, I get that attitude myself, on icky days.

And I don't even have a pet, to take lessons from. -grin-

  6. Gorgeous pictures. So calm, relaxing, inviting... We did get some winter weather week before last but it was ice. So I stayed inside. Because if anyone around here will slip and fall on ice, it's me. LOL

  7. It certainly looks cold and harsh. Curl up with your dog and dream of some blue skies :)

  12. All the snow we've had this winter so far and Copper is taking it laying down? Smart dog!

  13. I only know about snow from my English husband who says it is OK on Christmas cards but otherwise 'you can keep it"
There are times here in Perth some of us wish for snow when we are having a heatwave but perhaps not after all. Hot weather doesn't make for hard work....just saps our energy.

  14. Snow really is hard work, and who knows that better than Copper, right?!

  15. Quite a winter. Even here where I normally go between A/C and heat during the winter. We'll have some cold days and then it will warm up and I'll need the A/C just to get the humidity out and within a few days we're back to heat. This year I can't even remember the last time I turned on the A/C. It's been heat all winter. And we've had a frost three times. Sometimes we go a few years without one. I keep dragging my tropical plants into the garage and they're looking kind of sick right now. It's been cold all over! Personally, I miss the snow.

  16. The snow does make for some lovely photos but I'm sure most folks have had enough! Looks like your doggie knows how to deal with it!
