Brightening the Day

The sun makes me feel good.
It makes my dogs feel good.
It makes the earth feel good.
It even made this retired pre 1958 carrier, off the coast of Newport, RI, look good when we were there last week.
I love what happened to the  rays in these photos...another blunder!

  6. I told someone the other day that even though we have had a ton of snow, at least we've had sunshine. I love the sunshine. Today though, raining all day, then turning into ice tonight. No sun :-(

  10. Great picture! I love it when the sun comes out when it hasn't been out for a few days! We have been having temps -9 and wind chill of -20. Today it was 79 outside at my house! Snow is forecast for tomorrow night! ugh....

  18. Thanks for joining in with Sunlit Sunday again.

Aside from the interesting shape of the ship, the sky looks incredible in these photos. I quite like how the colourful ray showed itself in the second shot. Some accidents are happy ones.
