Coconut Cake

One box of yellow cake mix.

Mix and bake as directed using a 9x13 pan. Cool until warm. Poke holes in cake.

Then spoon or pour the following over cake, letting it soak into holes and around sides of cake:

1 1/2 c milk

1/2 c sugar

1/2 c coconut

Combine milk, sugar, coconut in small pan and bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for one minute.

Top with thawed Cool Whip (12 oz) which has about 3/4 c coconut mix in.

Sprinkle with remaing coconut (3/4)

Refrigerate overnight.

YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS MOIST CAKE!!!!!

  1. Sounds delicious! With the cold and snow I think everyone should stay home and bake. Having the oven going helps heat the house too!
