Time

While I was "quiet" in an attempt to mend, I did a little crocheting.  They are nothing special but for me they are great.  I make them in various sizes to place in between the China and the stoneware that I stack in the dining room cupboard.  I've also used them as dish cloths and since they are  made with 4 ply 100% cotton yarn, they stay nice and soft and wash and wear like iron.

  3. I love making these. You can find lots of colorful yarn to make gifts for friends. They lay flat enough I can add it in a birthday card for mailing. Thanks God for quiet times. Have a tiggeriffic day - ta ta for now from Iowa :)

  4. my mother loved to crochet and tried to teach me, even making a pot holder was beyond my patience. this looks good and is useful, would not have thought of them as spacers. great idea.

  9. I've been in a crochet mood lately and have been doing dish cloths. I never thought to use them between dishes for storage though. What a great idea

  10. That's a great idea to use between plates. I guess they make nice little samplers for practicing new stitches.
