Simplify


If you remember this sign, a gift from my Sister, has been hanging in the living room for years.  I love it and what it means.  Today I made a pie.  You're probably asking yourself what does this sign SIMPLIFY have to do with baking a pie.  Well....


My friend, Delores creator of The Feathered Nest posted Easy this morning and I decided to give it a shot.  This pie is made using a BLENDER...swear to goodness!  So now you see why I associated the sign with this.  Go see for yourself.  Of course, it's still in the oven as we speak, so I'll have to stop for now and do a...

  7. Hum... I can't wait to see what kind of pie you made. It doesn't look like a pie in the pie that is a pie to me though. lol

    I made a pie yesterday for my husband's birthday. I should post the recipe. It's really easy and you'd love it if you like oatmeal cookies.

  8. Somehow, don't ask me how I stumble across it because I frequently just wander from link to link, I found her Blender Pie post earlier and copied the recipe to my cooking file. I love that sign and what it says to me. Moving from Virginia Beach to this little mountain community sure simplified our lives.

  9. Oh, I hope you tired the coconut cream one. It seems too good to be true to make a pie without the hassle of making a crust, but I'm thinking about giving that recipe a try. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the results.
