My New Roommate

For some reason, this Winter seems to be a long one.
Needing a pick me up, I believe this beauty fit the bill.

Yellow, the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness has conflicting associations. On one hand, it stands for clarity, optimism, freshness, enlightenment, intellect, honor, joy, remembrance, positivity, and energy while on the other, it can stand for cowardice and deceit.

So, so pretty, JP. I see them all the time and just stare. I murder houseplants, and I've heard these are fussy. Tell me your opinion.

You know I think I may know some people who are the color yellow. When I see them they are always full of smiles and sunshine and yet I find them to be fake.

Pretty flowers sure do improve your mood, don't they? This winter is being so strange that anything bright and cheerful helps me. Stay warm.

These blomms certainly do add some color to a drab winter day, JP.

There are some many ways to be a flower - and orchids seem to have explored most of these ways.
