My Space

Last week, I needed space.

It wasn't long before I found it.

In my old age, I realize that I cherish "my space."  Learning to set boundaries years ago from my BFF, I learned to respect it.  Oh, don't get me wrong,  I am a people person.  I am a people pleaser.  I love being around people.  However, being as active as I am, socialization can be draining.  It is "my space" that regenerates me.

just seeing, saying, and sharing...

You found an idyllic "my space". I need that too, quiet time on my own in between social times.

Hello, I know exactly what you mean. I enjoy some "alone" time too.

Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!

I am just the opposite. I prefer being in "my space" most of the time with limited socialization.

Agreed, JP, we all need our own space from time to time. personally, I don't mind being alone and actually welcome the non-social interaction time.

You found a great spot to fit your need.
As long as the world comes to me via the internet,or I'm out in the surroundings of nature this introvert is quite content right here in my own space. When I do venture out into the commercial world and traffic, it doesn't take long to remember why.

Somewhere I read that the difference between an introvert and extrovert is an extrovert gets recharged and reenergized by being around people, while an introvert get recharged by quiet alone time. I'm definitely an introvert!! Your space looks like a beautiful spot to relax and recharge.
