Finding Distant Fences

Hitting the road a little earlier than normal, I said to the Pres, "Hon, I've got to go get a few fences.  I'll be back."

It was COLD...BRISK actually...in the high forties, so I even grabbed a longer jacket knowing that I would would out in the wind.

When I got there, I just couldn't get out of the car. Hence...distant fences.

just seeing, saying and sharing...

One more thing.
I know it's all about the fences, but don't those trees against the sky look awesome?

I really cannot wait to learn more about my camera.  I decided that I would try to set aside "study time" to practice.

Get ready!

I was practicing "shutter speeds" the other day and took (swear to goodness) 19 pix of the ceiling fan.  I think I understand that lesson...LOL!

JP, I love the softness of your photos. I think they would make some nice hanging pictures. Blessings for a great day. xoxo, Susie

The words 'distant fences' are going to echo in my head for a while...don't be surprised if at some point in the future they crop up again on my blog.

You will work it out. I think you did fine on these fences.

LOL, cracking up over the 19 pictures of the ceiling fan but only because I've done stuff like that. It's hard when you want to practice but it's too cold out so you try and find stuff in the house to take pictures of

now you have to delete the ceiling fan pictures, because otherwise in a year or so you'll be going through your pictures and say 'hon, why did I take all those pictures of our fan?" .... well, or at least that's what you'd do if you were me, not that I'd know that for sure. yeah, right.

Your distant fences are lovely -- I have an idea a lot of fence shots will be taken that way in the coming months.

it's great by me that you show something else besides fences and I don't think Tex would mind at all either. At least I hope not, because my posts are never exclusive to one link party.
