I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful Disney World was. If you haven't been there, go. Add it to your bucket list. In fact, put it at the top of your list! And, if you were fortunate enough to have been there recently, then you know what a magical place it truly is.
Days passed so quickly as we were literally moving and or on the go from morning until midnight. In fact, I can't believe that I, who gets up early and hits the sheets early, had enough stamina to remain awake and moving until 11-12pm! Although the Pres is not a morning person, he sucked it up and did great. Although both of us could not wait to take off our sneaks or sandals when we got back to the room because regardless of the footwear you choose, taking in everything was so worth it!
For those of you who are exercise nuts and all about the numbers or interested in tracking your steps, it might interest you to know that my daily counts ran between 13,000 and 18,000 per day. Even though I ate like a piggie, I lost weight and inches As for photos...I took 667 with my camera and I don't know how many with my phone.
When we arrived we don't even go to our hotel room because my daughter had purchased a package that included the Magic Bus, which delivered our luggage to our room. Heading straight to Magic Kingdom Park, we stepped into the most magical experience ever.
At first I was going to list everything we did, but the list became too long so what I will tell you is that of everything we did, the Pres enjoyed all the roller coasters we went. Like a little kid, he scrutinized the maps, locating any ride that remotely resembled a roller coaster.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Kermit and Miss Piggy were still together.
It is also quite amazing how a place like Disney World can alter personalities...LOL!
And for you and those at
because It's A Small World After All
