But I Like It


From this week's kayaking excursion, I just had to give you this one...




because...

when I turned to take the pic, the sun was so bright that I couldn't see what I was taking.
And then I thought, Oh well, I can always delete it.

This is when it pays to have digital -- What do you have to lose by taking the picture? ...How did we ever manage with film?

What gorgeous light and reflections! Having used film most of my life I find I really enjoy the freedom of digital to just take the photos I wouldn't otherwise have risked. This one has worked so well.

Such a beautiful light ... The view from a kayak is something special, ain't it?
I grew up by a riverside, and just rowing in the lake was one of my favorite things to do. At one point we had a kayak for two, that was an experience in balancing it ... I would love to try that again.
