Heads Up

Tired of being in the house all Winter and since it was so darn cold this week because of the 30-50 mph winds from Canada (thank YOU very much), I really didn't know what I was going to show you today for critters.

HEADS UP...

Then I noticed my fox!  No longer buried completely, there he was looking right at me.

Note:  Do you see the wind chime on the ground?  Thanks to those high winds, it, too, is now waiting for me to save it.

For being concrete, I think he looks real, don't you?
Or have I really been in the house too long?

Then there's the Geese.  One has emerged victorious above the snow while the other still has yet to show it's face.

Well, that's it for now.  There was no way I could have even used my snowshoes when I wrote this.  The wind is so strong it would have pushed me like the sail of a boat!!

And of course, yesterday was the first day of Spring.  It snowed...:)  Joy, joy.

Geting so much snow must be a drag after a while. Sorry you are house bound!:( Don't know if these captures are real or not, but they look like it.

Maybe up close and personal I wouldn't think so but in your pictures I think the fox looks real.
Hope you start seeing some real spring soon

Your first day of spring seems rather like our first day of autumn down under. One expects it to suddenly cool down but we usually have a heatwave just to celebrate autumn's arrival.
Hopefully the fox and geese will soon be fully visible again and enjoying the spring sunshine. (*:*)

Ah, I know the feeling, and I'm wishing for a big melt down of all that snow, for you and that sweet wind chime too!

Hey! I only meant to blow the snow off my gardens, not all the way to you. LOL
My poor concrete bunnies started to crumble after being out a couple of winters. I hope your cute fox will hold together for you.
We have a howling wind outside today with little snow flurries swirling around.

As a happy Canadian, you are MORE than welcome for every bit of weather we have sent your way and WE thank YOU for the lambasting our East Coast got this winter. What goes comes around comes around eh? LOL.

Oh my --so much snow! I thought the fox was real at first! That geese looks to be having a hard time keeping his head up. I hope the winds have died down and that Spring will arrive soon!
