Boundaries

Together they head out.

He is the alpha....always has been.

However, I noticed in the snow, Moon seems to take the lead.

Then getting to a crossroad in the path, they go their separate ways.

Guess what happened to me the other day.

See the big dent in the snow?

Oops...we all fall down...:)
And I was carrying a shovel full of ______ (residue)!

I love that first shot, they have their own maze... such a great idea and no no on the fall down with the shovel.. yuck.. at least it is easy to see the stuff in the snow, here it is dirt and leaves and we have to hunt for it.

Sometimes the Alpha lets others be the checker! Ha! Ha! Our German Shepherd Rex, alpha too, never ever let anyone take the lead, dogs can be so funny. I always enjoy how our dogs will follow plowed trails like this too! Oh where does it lead!

Smart dogs. Taking the path instead of getting buried up in the snow.

Wow that is a lot of snow. Looks like you could create a "maze" there. The dogs seems to be enjoying it. Oh goodness, falling down, not so fun but atleast it was a soft landing.

I like those paths they have to follow. I hope you were dressed warm when you fell in the snow and I hope the reside fell far away from where you did :)

Those are some lucky dogs. We have given up trying to clear more than a little way for Olive the pug to do her thing. Just when we think we have it licked, we get dumped on again. Oh, well.. Love your pics! Better to fall in the snow than on the ice.

These are great shots! You certainly have a lot of snow.

Hopefully with all that snow you had a somewhat soft fall! Not fun to fall down but at least you had a good excuse.

That's a lot of lovely snow! Enjoy.

As long as the residue didn't land on you.

At least when you fall the snow is soft. I guess the residue is too. All's well that ends well.

I get that shovelling job when I'm at my daughter's Michigan home. Not had to shovel in the snow as yet. Don't you just love the dogs?
