Tropics Needed Today

Turtle Sunning at Pond's Edge

No, we're not there...not yet.

However, today is overcast, damp, and chilly and I needed the tropics.

Thank goodness for archives...:)

Eggs of Swallowtail
Laying it's tiny pearl-like eggs on it's host plant of citrus (lemon, orange, mandarin), the Eastern Giant Swallowtail is breathtakingly beautiful.

Sharing the warmth.

One more thing.
Interesting that snow effects even make Aruba look pretty, hmmmmm?

I wouldn't mind sunning at a pond's edge like Mr. Turtle, it is cold and damp here! But at least no snow or ice.The Swallowtail is perfect, and perfectly beautiful!

Sometimes we need to remember what warmer weather is like!

Ahh, that was a nice break from the cold and snow and ice. :)

temps here are starting to fall now and it's supposed to be bitter cold for the next several days at least. I could use some tropics
