Where Am I?

Walking along the well worn path trying to avoid the puddles, a small hillside lit by the setting sun revealed a small herd of deer. Grazing and watching us as we, along with others, watched them all while listening to the crashing waves against the rocks here at Sachuest Point, RI.

When my SIL from Cape May, NJ called us to wish us a Merry Christmas,
she said, "Good for you...going for a nature walk!" But somehow I never thought that our walk at Sachuest Point would be so much fun.

Sharing what we did on Christmas day with you and those at

So where were you on Christmas...hmmmmm?

Love the picture with the tide foam splashing up, and the blue of the sea is such a deep intense blue. Also the way the light is on the deer, so beautiful. Much more than just an ordinary day!

What a wonderful day you had and such beautiful pictures. We spent Christmas Day with family at #1 granddaughter's home and all enjoyed a fabulous time. Family are so precious to me.

What beautiful pictures...Serenity amongst nature . ...the ocean and golden light and deer. A lovely place to share with family time. We shared our day at eldest daughters place and all squished into the house to sleep that night to be able to spend the next day together. There was going to be tent fun sleeping but a storm wiped that idea. Siblings, parents, cousins, grandparents starting the day with breakfast on the deck. The absolute best way to spend a Christmas day is out of doors, don't you think? What wonderful photos! I always love to see deer - they bring back childhood Bambi stories :)
