Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Last week it was in the forties.  This week it was in the forties.  Next week is Christmas.  Temps will be once again warm enough so the precipitation we'll be getting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be rain.

Now if that's not a GRINCHie Christmas, I don't know what is!!

However, today, I felt like walking in a winter wonderland, so I'm dreaming of a white Christmas using a few photos from the archives.

I love the way the Mother Nature even decorated the stars on our house with snow last year, don't you?

The herd of deer shown below is another favorite of mine.

It looks very pretty JP. We have a winter wonderland here again with about 10 inches of fresh snow this past week. I hear we may get rain for Christmas though. Have a great weekend and I hope you get a white Christmas.

For your sake I hope you have a 'weather turnaround' and you get some snow for Christmas.

We're looking out at green grass and a few patches of snow ourselves. I may have to do the same and pull out photos of snowier days.
Merry Christmas.

I love your fancy snowflakes! And your house is really beautiful! So many times, we have blogger friends for years, yet never have seen where they live! Well, at least rain is better than ice! Let's hope for no freezing.

Christmas is the one and only day of the year when it's nice to have snow. Your snow pictures are so pretty

Beautiful shots and hoping that you will have a wonderful Christmas. There is nothing quite like snow for Christmas. Something that I so miss in Texas! Enjoy

Lovely wintery images! I'm also anticipating for a rainy Christmas ... Yet it's warm and cozy inside :)
And your snow flakes are falling so softly here ... Merry Christmas to you & yours!

There really is something so peaceful about the snow falling and your photos are lovely and reflect that perfectly. I wouldn't mind a little bit of snow since I get to be home--Paws crossed for both of us!!

I think they are saying we will get some snow but no accumulation so basically no snow for Christmas here either! And here I made snow measuring sticks with my son's 4th grade class this week. I hope they get to use them this year! lol

Snow certainly seems to re-invent even the familiar landscapes. Lovely photos.
