But WHY?


Initially I was going to use this pic for today's Good Fences.

It gives you a peek out the kitchen window over the fence at the cement truck pouring the footings.  And it also gives you a little peek at the kids, Moon and Copper wondering why their fence was moved.  The plan is that the back of the garage will eliminate a good portion of the wire fence by attaching the corners to the building.  Another good plan by my honey.




But then I came across this pic that was taken on my way to Tai Chi last week when I began my quest for those leaves getting ready to "take a well deserved rest."  
I found some even though they didn't have a fence in front of them...:)


You did know that's why leaves change color, right?

(some great info to share with kids when they say, "But, WHY?")

Cute doggies! The Autumn colors are gorgeous, I can understand that the trees need to rest! They do put on a beautiful show! Have a happy day!

gorgeous!! love the fall colors. when i was younger i would babysit for a few kids that one WHY was not enough. it was several times over & over. ha. ha!! until i would just ignore the why & move on to talking about something else. ha. ha!! ( :

I always look forward to this time of year with great anticipation. Sadly (as Delores has noted) our changing leaves are not as beautiful this year.

So beautiful!!! And I love the last picture! I believe leaves don't really change color, they just reveal the color under the green.
