And You Do WHAT With Them?

Just look at those little darlings.

And this exhausted Mom trying to catch a nap.

Look at the two little ones that just sprawled right out next to her right in front of me as I was gazing down...too darn cute, right?

Sharing piglets with you and those at

So many local fairs to enjoy this time of the year.  People bring their livestock for display or in hopes of winning that big blue ribbon.  Me?  I just enjoy watching them.  Now I know that there are a lot of "pork" lovers out there, but did you know that people...actually enjoy eating a pig's tail?  That knocked me right on my you know what when I read about it.  Heavens there are even recipes out there!! (Since this is a "family" show, I did NOT include the links.)

Would you...could you...
 ever eat one?

My dad loved pickled pigs feet. And my mom's dad ate chicken feet. I can think of better things to eat, like sweet potatoes or a nice green salad. Right now I need my cereal and yoghurt! Linda@Wetcreek Blog

Not a pork eater here but I do love how stinkin' cute they are! I'm trying to get myself to the point that I don't eat anything with a face. It's not going that well so far.

People also eat ox tails too! My son had some in a restaurant even! It seems that humanity thinks "Let's see, what is the grossest, most yucky thing that I can eat today?" And WHY would someone even want to eat the tail of something? Well, I know eggs do not come from a good place, but even so, the tail is worse!! These pigs are beyond adorable, even cuter than puppies!!! The ones at our County Fair would constantly turn their backs to us like they knew what we were up to.

They really are cute, and while I do love a good BLT, I wouldn't want a TLT sandwich (tail-lettuce & tomato).. :-)

And I love the fair and seeing all the animals too, and lets not forget funnel cake!! :-)

They are really cute. :-) I admit...I do like bacon. However pig's tail and pig's feet sound a tad gross..

They are cute and I will pass on the pig tail. The only way I could eat that would be if I had no idea what it was

Those little piglets are darling...we have a pig farm close by here and we love to drive by in the spring to see all those little ones running around!

I'm amazed at all the fare I am seeing at restaurants involving pork belly. Every sort of dish imaginable using it. Hubby tried some sort of taco with it in Virginia and loved it. I used to be be brave, now I stay along the lines of exotic veggies.
