Just Make The Call

When we went to the beach
last week, Angel pointed this guy out to me.

He hung around around the pole and wires all afternoon...watching and waiting.  Waiting and watching.

We think he may have been after the endangered Piping Plovers nesting nearby.

Waiting patiently, it would stare at the distant marsh as crows with voracious appetites ravaged nests of low lying birds while the adults tried to fight them off.
Sometimes, nature is rough.

Nice of him to pose like that for you.

he eats birds, we eat cows and pigs and chickens.. that is how i view nature. i don't like it when our hawk sits in our tree and drops bones and feathers from his meal but i do understand he is part of the food chain...

Nature is rather rough sometimes and I'm OK with it so long as I don't have to be a witness to it

Nature is harsh sometimes, but everybody's got to eat. You have to hope this guy got a meal that day.
