Freedom

The Pres and I were talking the other day...talking about freedom.
Talking about how it comes in many shapes and sizes...
what we do with it when we have it...
how much it means to us.
We decided that
we love ours wherever we are...:)

We take it for granted far too often, only realizing it's true important if we loose it.

Great post.

you got the same long spam i got Ginny told me about mine. it did not come into my email like the other comments. you might want to delete it. i am always happy i live in the land of the free but am thinking it might not be that way for much longer. freedom from somethings, we think we want until we get it.

We are so blessed to live in this country! People argue so much over politics, and some are divided by it. But no doubt the country is in better shape them most because of our incredible freedoms! What a fresh and colorful kite shot! But what is that unusual insect?

i have noticed recently that there are even more "Don't Tread on Me" license plates out there in VA. i know the flag ... but now i see them on car & trucks so often. not sure what they do in other states but in VA we have to pay yearly for that plate. if we didn't i would consider getting one. ( :

i love my freedom & i find that the government is getting a bit more into mine lately. seems a bit sticky. i don't have a secretive life so get the heck out.

HOME is where the heart is...no matter where that might be.
How thankful we are to be living in a free country.

You reminded mo of that song Richie Havens sang at Woodstock. Freedom has not come easy for some in this great country. But the fight has been worth it and things are so much better now. Better too than in many other countries.

Is that a dragonfly? Freedom--we shouldn't take it for granted.

We are fortunate to have freedom as others in parts of the world do not. Be careful of that spam you are publishing like Sandra say. I got that also but NEVER publish it, I delete it immedialey

Freedom is something everyone should appreciate but some want to take it away and that is so sad. Your photos were wonderful. What type of an insect is that?
