Random 5 Friday

So much to do and get done before vacation.  A new approach.  Take out the smallest suitcase and pack what fits in it rather than using a larger suitcase!  It worked...:)  Oh, before I forget, my blogging activity may be a tad "sporadic" until we return mid-April.  It depends on the connectivity available deep in the Caribbean...:)

Really excited this year as we have a house and dog sitter!!!  I've been baking for her...:)  By the time we leave, she'll have a nice variety to satisfy her sweet tooth!

Yesterday's early morning walk energized me as I was able to fill my lungs with "Spring" air.  A breezy and sunny day made everything seem fresh!!

The Pres has been busy this week...his birthday, delivering Easter (yes, Easter!!) flowers to NJ for his friend's business, cleaning up around our bird feeders, stashing lime and grass seed like the squirrels stash goodies!!

My Sister is feeling GREAT!  At the age of seventy, she has decided to sell one of her homes.  We have been talking about it for years and the process is keeping her very busy!!!

It is raining here today after yesterday being the warmest recorded March 20th in Dutch history. But you are going to have spectacular weather on your vacation. Great idea about the smaller suitcase. We are still lugging waaay tooo heavy pieces for our age. Enjoy your trip and let us hear from you when you can. Linda@Wetcreek Blog on location in The Netherlands

Wishing Joe a belated Happy Birthday🎂. Packing a smaller suitcase is something I have been working on as well for travel (less to tote). The baked treats will be enjoyed as you do them so well, JP. Wishing you all safe travels and lots of fun

ooh, have fun in the Caribbean!
I love the tablecloth in the back. Are those Ball jars on that table? The Ball jar company was founded in the city in which I live. Our university and hospital are named for the four brothers.
thanks for visiting my blog!

I want to hear all about that vacation. I'm on a trip right now with my cousin. We are in FLorida. But my Shug and I are supposed to take a vacay the end of April. Don't know where to go. We've decided if we are in the mood to go somewhere, we will, if not, we'll stay home and sleep in!
