Random 5 Friday

With all the winter weather we had this week, I got to sleep over and babysit for Mia again...:)

The storms that hit us kept the Pres occupied this week.  I don't think he was that happy about it either, so I'm glad I wasn't home.

We splurged and got Chinese take out this week, which we haven't had in a long, long time.  Have you ever tried Coconut Shrimp?  Oh my...it was delicious!!!

My sister is doing well...feeling good and has been keeping herself busy around the house. She told me that Annie, her lab mix, accidentally placed her paws on the buttons controlling the automatic windows and out she jumped.  Thank goodness, she was near the neighbor's yard!

The adult eagles have been back a while and I hear them nearly every morning near the nest.  WIth such frequent visits to the nest, mating should be soon.  I took a walk in after they headed towards the dam and got a few pix of their nest which has been adorned with fresh sprigs of white pine.

i am so glad her pup is ok. we had to hook Max leash through the seat belt to keep him from leaping out of the truck. and i found out by accident this week that the new Kia has a child/dog lock on the power windows. i tried to put the windows down and panicked becaue they would ot work. i found i had accidently pressed a button with an x on it which locks the windows. wonder if she has that on her car?

I live on the gulf coast of Texas and every year it seems we are getting more and more Eagles....I saw one flying a couple of weeks ago with some very large twigs for a nest...so fun!

i have to push the 'lock window' button whenever i transport mine to the vet. their nails can operate those windows, never fail.
