Random is Great

My sister is scheduled for her sixth...and FINAL...session of chemo today.  She plans on driving herself, proving her independence, once again.  I can't blame her.  We are both so excited and cannot wait for this day to be over.  What a way to start the New Year!

It turned very cold here in the past few days and we finally got snow yesterday.  Although it cramped my plans for a road trip to RI, it is so worth it...I LOVE the snow.

The Pres met with his doctor for his three month follow-up.  Trying to watch what and how much he's eating, he's lost nine pounds!  Coming home pleased, his cholesterol and sugar went down within an acceptable range.

Downloaded Catching Fire the other night, so it looks and feels like a great day for my Vanilla Chai tea along with some homemade biscotti.

Christmas decorations came down this week.  Did the season seem short to you?

Great news for the Pres and your sister!! A great start to a new year. And, I am heading out into that CT snow to feed horses and chickens... that's the only time I don't really love it :-)

Praying for your sister! Also, I've been seeing a lot of positive results of people beating cancer with cannabis oil. I think this year's Christmas season was too short. We didn't get our decorating up fast enough and I'm not ready to take it down! lol You know when I decorate for the fall I have it up for a good 3 months. Almost the same with the spring/Easter decorations. One month isn't long enough for Christmas especially when you have all of the junk I have to put out. I love it all out too and I didn't get it all out this year but I did get most of it out. It just makes the house look magical! lol

Wonderful news for the Pres and your sister. Yes, the holiday season did seem short this year. I still have my decorations up and I usually leave them up through Jan 6. I may leave them up longer this year. I'm going to miss them! Enjoy the movie. Stay warm and Happy New Year!
