Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve, we went to my BIL's.  Parking on the staircase, I had the best view in the house!

Reflections and shadows still show up in B & Ws!!
Which do you like better?

For certain things black and white beats colour every time for me. Just look how the grain shows up in the timer. I find also for people black and white is most effective. My eldest granddaughter often takes B&W pics of her two little girls.

I like them both for different reasons... really like the wood in those steps and spindles too!

black and white always seems to have a more dramatic look to it. I like both versions

I like the both versions, but tend to lean toward the color...

Wishing you all the best in 2014, Happy New Year to you and yours!

Honestly would need a bit more details in both to make a selection, JP, but would most likely opt for B&W.

I like the warmth of colour of the first shot but I'm a sucker for black and white. When I think of Christmas's past I always see them in black and white.

I had to smile because I would have done the same. Nice perspective!
