Ginger Crinkles

Here's another favorite of mine...a recipe shared at a cookie swap:

GINGER CRINKLES

2 1/2 c flour                            2 tsp baking soda                1 tsp ginger

1 tsp cinnamon                      1 tsp cloves

Sift all of the above and set aside.

Cream:  1 c brown sugar
3/4 c shortening or cooking oil
             1/4 c molasses
             1 egg

Add dry ingredients and mix well.  Form one inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.  Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 10 min.
