Meet ANNIE

My sister lives in Florida.  We are very close.  She sent me this pic the other day.

Meet Annie, her six week old Chocolate Lab.

Susie, who is thirteen, doesn't appear impressed, as you can see.  Sis told me she isn't in real life either!!  Personally, I think Susie is probably thinking...boy do I have my work cut out for me!

A friend of mine has a Chocolate Lab named Bruno.
He weighs ninety pounds and he's not fat!
Do you think I should tell my sister?  She thinks that labs top out around fifty pounds.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, SIS!!!

I've seen that look from my own dogs when I bring home a new foster dog, and especially 2 years ago when Todd arrived--Nothing like a puppy to turn a household and its occupants onto its ear! :-)

The sweetest little puppy.. he looks like a miniature next to the big dog.
Your sister is going to have lots of fun with him.

I love labs! I had a choco lab named Maui! He was 125lbs and all muscle. He was a real sweetheart, I still miss him.

I had two chocolate labs. The male was only around 60lbs and the female was a little smaller.

Cute. I think you better warn her. I've never known a lab that wasn't over 50 lbs.

I think the old dogs knows she will have her work cut out for her. Angel was 12, I think, when Samson came as a puppy and she very patiently raised him, disciplined him, played with him. It was wonderful to watch.
