Nestled

among the upcoming local events column in the newspaper, it seemed to jump out at me.  Folding the page so I would not forget about it and placing the paper on my desk, I not only jotted the date and time down in my planner but also put it in my phone.  I had an opportunity I didn't want to pass up.

Not far from here is a place called Scotland and although I didn't know much (and still don't) about the community itself, I knew I wanted to be a the library at 6:30pm that evening.

You see, this is the way my mind works.
I associate the word nestled for some reason with pine trees.  Our Home in the Hollow was nestled in the pines.  Our home here (A Quiet Corner) is also nestled in the pines.

So nestled signifies pines.
Pines signify branches.
Branches signify reaching out.
Reaching out means...
I attended my first presentation by a ranger of The Last Green Valley.  It was awesome!

P.S.  For those of you who are not familiar with it, here's the link TLGV.
