Time

While I was "quiet" in an attempt to mend, I did a little crocheting.  They are nothing special but for me they are great.  I make them in various sizes to place in between the China and the stoneware that I stack in the dining room cupboard.  I've also used them as dish cloths and since they are  made with 4 ply 100% cotton yarn, they stay nice and soft and wash and wear like iron.

Nice, and great idea using them for padding/spacers.

I love making these. You can find lots of colorful yarn to make gifts for friends. They lay flat enough I can add it in a birthday card for mailing. Thanks God for quiet times. Have a tiggeriffic day - ta ta for now from Iowa :)

my mother loved to crochet and tried to teach me, even making a pot holder was beyond my patience. this looks good and is useful, would not have thought of them as spacers. great idea.

I never thought to put them between my glass bowls and plates. I like this idea.

I've been in a crochet mood lately and have been doing dish cloths. I never thought to use them between dishes for storage though. What a great idea

That's a great idea to use between plates. I guess they make nice little samplers for practicing new stitches.

...i'm jealous...i always wanted to crochet...just can't seem to get the hang of it...

those crochet squares would be so much nicer than the coffee filters i have in between dishes (in the camper...)
