Real Pain

I thought I knew what pain was trying to mend and heal myself over the past few weeks.  However, it is nothing compared to the pain and anguish I felt while my daughter was in the hospital.

Diagnosed with several blood clots in her lungs, she could barely draw a breath.  Tests and more tests, day after day.  Arguments with doctors and days of little or no sleep, she prevailed.

Soon to be released, they informed her today she is B12 deficient and has a mass near her ovaries for follow up by her OBGYN.

Yes, this was pain.
As a Mom and not being able to help her, this was real pain.

I think we suffer more for our kids and grandkids than if it was ourselves with the affliction. All good thoughts headed her way.

It breaks my heart to read these words. Sending prayers up for your daughter and for strength for all of you. Our daughter too is possibly facing some kidney surgery soon. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Instant prayer/healing vibes sent her way. It hurts me just knowing this. Hang in there Mom. She will be ok, and so will you.

JP - Just catching up on blogs myself. Girl - go get yourself fixed so you can be healthy for your daughter if she needs you. I'm thinking you all need a vacation...or a break of some sort. Please keep us informed on your and your daughter's progress. I wonder what the deal is with the blood clot thing in the lungs...I've heard of several people, young people, having this problem lately. Take care.

PS - Your dogs are gorgeous.

I can't imagine what you are feeling and yet I can imagine. I hope they find out the cause for sure and get it taken care of. sandie

How did she get the blood clots? I hope she heals quickly. Back when I was vegan for 3 years, I got B-12 deficient. It's no fun and it took me a while to get straight again. My neurologist basically said - no more vegan for me!

I am so sorry to hear this and hope she is well quick.

I do think we suffer more for our children than ourselves.

My thoughts are with you. I have heard a lot about B12 or the lack of lately.

Miracles happen every day and there are happy endings.
