A "Hot Date"

Watching TV, I lay on the couch and the Pres was parked in his recliner, I said, " Boy, I could really go for an ice cream."

Hearing the recliner go into a "sit,"  I then heard, "Let's go...I've been craving one since four o'clock."

And so, the whole family (that includes Moon & Copper) went out on what we call "A Hot Date."  We were out the door faster than you can say "D Q" which is where we're heading.

Remind me to tell you how good it was!

Your hot dates sound like our hot dates..except we're not fancy enough to have a DQ! I'm jealous!

Nothing like a spur of the moment family outing.

do moon and copper get a taste? a great place to go for sure. we do that with craving a Frosty from Wendy's. we don't keep ice cream or any sugar in the house and only eat it OUT. that way i can't gobble it all up

Ohhhh, what a great date! Nothing hits the spot like ice cream, especially after you have been dreaming about it for a while.

I liked what you said about the three crows on Run A Round Ranch, so came over to see what you were all about. I think I'll stick around for a bit. Always like to see what another retiree is up to.

LOL, we were there Friday night. Do you know their soft serve kid's cones only have 140 calories? That's basically guilt free in my book ;-)

Sonic would be our hot date location LOL. We have even gone there on our anniversary LOL. Well its hard to be good junk food once in a while and you get private seating, its a drive in so your car :O). They have the best onion rings as well.

I haven't been the DQ for a long time--I think I'm overdue for a Blizzard!! We actually don't have one here in our town--We have to hit the freezer at the 7-11!

I hope you've had an enjoyable day!!

Our ice cream date is to go to the new nearby McDonald's for one of their cones. We do enjoy those; no dog allowed!
