Home in the Hollow TO BECOME: A Quiet Corner

I've decided on a new name for my blog, gang!  Rather than creating a whole new blog, I am simply changing the name to A QUIET CORNER because I want to take what I've done with me!  Sometimes, it's hard to let go and my blog means a lot to me.  Besides, I want to take all of you with me so again I ask that you bear with me during the transition, the packing, the move, and the dreaded unpacking because I enjoy talking to you!

I'm sure there is a home out there that has my name on it and I've decided that since Northeastern corner of Connecticut is still affordable, abundant in antique dealers, has large and pristine farms lining the rural hills, has rivers running through it, lakes (for me to learn to kayak at the ripe old age of sixty three), plenty of preserved forests with tons of trails (for the kids and I to walk and hike), the name A QUIET CORNER will be quite suitable.  Besides, when I'm not with the family, it will be A QUIET CORNER, don't you agree?

to be continued...(LOL!)

I'm sending this one over to Nancy creator of A Rural Journal - Your Sunday BestAfter all, the years I've spent in the Hollow have been THE BEST!

I'm so glad I saw this post, JP -- I'd be in a frenzy if I couldn't find A Home In The Hollow!

I'm looking forward to following along on your continued adventures, no matter where the road takes you. :)

Hi JP! I was thinking of saying farewell but if I decided to redo my blog than as you say, the packing, the unpacking, all the mess! I love your new name! It is simply lovely! I will stick with my original blog but I need to work out the blogger kinks! Hee Hee! Someone told me to use Google Chrome. So far, so good! But I blog simply because I love the people. I am no technical wizard so I will find a way to suffer thru the problems and enjoy the company of friends. I hope you visit me sometime and know I truly enjoy knowing you. I will be back! Enjoy the weekend. Anne

That is a great idea! We will all be here waiting until you get settled in. I love the name, A Quiet Corner, but I am having a hard time thinking it will be "quiet" with all your funny happenings and stories. And we know what a loose cannon The Pres is. Never a dull moment.

Good name and you go girl on your learning to kayak at 63. No hill for a climber as they say or for a Capricorn, As I have said before Capricorns are old when young and young when old! Life jacket don't forget the Life Jacket!
