F is for...

Feeling the soft white sand between my toes as my footprints were erased away almost immediately, I walked the beach.  It was not yet crowded with the sound and movement of people. In fact, the natural elements had taken hold, giving me peace and solitude...alone with my music, my thoughts, my dreams.

Looking out onto the blue waters, seeing the varying shades of blue-green melded with the occasional white foam, my brain waves were interrupted by the sound of the nature's.  Ships of all sizes and shapes bobbing gracefully on those waves.  How could something built by man be so fluid?  Or was it the ocean that made them seem fluid?  Even they were at rest.

Scattered among the boats, I saw a few workers preparing for their day, as I waved and said, "Bon dia".  I have found here that almost all Arubans are happy and smile all the time.  Perhaps that is why Aruba is known as One Happy Island.

It would be difficult to NOT be happy in such surroundings.
