A Visit from Mother Nature

Yesterday, Mother Nature blessed us once again!
What started out looking like it was going to be a brief, short lived "Dusting in the Winter"...

became a little heavier in the late afternoon hours, transforming my wonderful, magical Hollow into a Winter Playground for the kids and I.

Hmmm. Too bad I didn't see you out taking pictures. I ran up to your house 4 times yesterday during the heaviest part of the snow (I had to run 10 miles, which I'd hoped to do in the morning but didn't because Paul was working on stuff)

Beautiful! Look at the size of those flakes. Doesn't get more Christmas-y looking than that! :)

Don't you just love the snow?!! I love the way your hollow looks covered in white. You have such a beautiful home there.--Inger

That is beautiful. I just think of the Ingall’s when I see your pictures. Just looks so remote and tucked away from the crazy world. I love it and can imagine what a scene you had this morning :)

Your pictures are beautiful! I think we had the same snow storm pass over us. It was so beautiful to look out and the only tracks you saw were deer and rabbits.

Wow! What a beautiful winter wonderland scene. We never get that in California unless I drive about 100 miles up to our local mountains.

Have a great week

Gorgeous! It really makes it start to feel like the holidays, doesn't it. It hasn't snowed that much here yet this winter, but when it does, I always feel like I'm living inside a postcard.

|It is so funny - what is your blessing - snow - and my blessing - no snow - are complete opposites and that is okay! sandie

It's beautiful JP! I do love it when it snows in the day time so you can watch the snowflakes fall.
