Adult "Child Time"

Today, try to remember back when you were a child.  Summers seemed longer.  School dragged on, to what seemed, forever.  As adults, we quite often say that we don't have enough time to do everything that needs to be done.  I used to feel like that,  but now my "todays" are long, full and most of the time, wonderful...because I choose to make them that way!

So today, slow down and take the time to look around.  Lie on the grass and watch those little ants working diligently carrying grains of soil that appear to be boulders to them.  Look up at the sky and watch the clouds moving slowly across the sky constantly changing shape as they move.  Try to "see" the things that you never had the time to notice.  Yes, today slow down and live in "child time".

Take it easy...just like we are!

I get up at midnight and lay in my reclining lawn chair and look at the meteor shower that has been going on since last week. It's so cool.
IT's so dark and quiet outside at this time and a chance to be quiet...
I think in our busy lives we need to take time to just be quiet... Reflect on what God is saying to us and wanting us to do.. Prayer is a very important thing to do and this is a perfect tme to do it ~! Plus enjoy all the magic show~!~!
WEnt to Barnes and Noble today and bought Sandra Dallas book called Prayers For Sale. I have all of Sandra's book and last year she was here in Cedar Rapids and I went and had her sign all of my books. After supper I'm going to go outside and sit in my reclining lawn chair and read... It started out at 65 this morning and no humidity.. It's still really nice outside SOOOO I think I will enjoy the outdoors and read my book.... Relax....
